Project Director – Hyperscale Data Centres

About the role

We are seeking three experienced Project Directors to lead major work packages for hyperscale data centre projects in Belgium. This freelance position offers the chance to shape one of Europe’s most high‑profile data centre programmes, overseeing construction through to commissioning.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of large‑scale data centre projects from construction through commissioning.
• Manage the full project lifecycle, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget, high‑quality outcomes.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including construction, engineering, commercial, and client stakeholders.
• Serve as primary interface with end clients, contractors, and consultants.
• Drive programme performance, risk management, and commercial results.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Project Director or Senior Project Manager on large‑scale construction projects.
• Strong background in data centres, mission‑critical, industrial, or complex infrastructure projects.
• Experience delivering projects valued at €100M+.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication abilities.
• Capability to operate at both strategic and operational levels.
• Fluent English; additional European languages are a plus.
