Project Director – Construction & Mission Critical Projects

About the role

The Project Director will lead the delivery of complex construction and mission‑critical projects across Belgium and other EU locations. You will own the full project lifecycle, from pre‑construction strategy through to handover, ensuring safety, quality and commercial success.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full project delivery across cost, programme and quality.
• Manage commercial performance and contribution targets.
• Oversee subcontractor management and ensure project compliance.
• Develop and manage construction and contract programmes.
• Drive value‑engineering initiatives across design and delivery.
• Lead PCS implementation and project controls.
• Manage variations, contract amendments and extension‑of‑time requests.
• Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
• Champion health & safety and quality standards on site.
• Mentor and develop project teams.

Required profile

• Proven construction project leadership experience.
• Strong commercial and contractual awareness.
• Experience managing large multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong understanding of health & safety and quality compliance.
• Ability to lead within complex, fast‑track delivery environments.
