.NET Backend Developer

About the role

Join a leading French IT services firm and work on a high‑profile trading project for a major financial institution. You will help design, develop and maintain backend systems that support critical trading activities, ensuring scalability, reliability and efficient data processing.

Key responsibilities

• Develop backend applications and integration services using .NET technologies.
• Translate business requirements and user stories into technical solutions.
• Design and implement REST or gRPC APIs, following OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
• Apply object‑oriented and SOLID principles, using async/await patterns.
• Work with ORM tools such as NHibernate or Entity Framework.
• Write unit tests and use mocking frameworks to ensure code quality.
• Contribute to microservices and event‑driven architecture design, including service bus (NServiceBus) and messaging systems (RabbitMQ).
• Apply Domain‑Driven Design (DDD) concepts and participate in CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in an Agile environment.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of professional experience in software development.
• Fluent in French and English or Dutch and English.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently.
• Experience working in Agile teams.
