Local Growth & Field Community Lead

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Local Growth & Field Community Lead to connect Lightspeed with hospitality customers and prospects across key Belgian cities. You will act as the bridge between our brand and the local market, driving community building, event activation and content creation to keep Lightspeed top‑of‑mind as the preferred tech partner.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and enlist top local customers as “anchor” partners to host events that attract prospects and industry influencers.
• Build and nurture relationships with prospects, influencers, trade associations and other external stakeholders.
• Conceptualise, execute and measure a variety of local events – from breakfasts and working lunches to exclusive evenings – hosted at customer sites.
• Capture authentic customer stories on‑site using mobile video, collaborating with the social team to produce short clips and case studies.
• Keep field sales collateral up‑to‑date with fresh data, stories and insights gathered from each city.
• Collaborate closely with regional integrated marketing managers, field sales, account managers, product marketing, social media specialists and partnership marketing to turn community activities into revenue.
• Track and report on event impact, linking offline activities to pipeline, leads, demos and sales metrics using CRM and Looker data.

Required profile

• Proven experience in community building, event planning and relationship management within the hospitality or SaaS sector.
• Strong storytelling ability and comfort creating on‑the‑spot video content.
• Data‑driven mindset with the ability to translate activity metrics into business outcomes.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with cross‑functional teams.
