Junior System Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior System Engineer to join our IT team. You will provide first‑ and second‑line support for Windows devices and Microsoft 365 services while developing your expertise in Microsoft technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑ and second‑line support for Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365 and end‑user devices.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and connectivity issues, escalating complex incidents.
• Manage user accounts, groups and permissions in Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Support Exchange Online, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint.
• Prepare and deploy Windows devices using Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot.
• Install, configure and maintain Windows workstations and basic Windows Server environments.
• Perform software deployments, Windows updates and driver management.
• Monitor infrastructure alerts, provision virtual machines and document incidents in the ITSM platform.
• Collaborate with senior system engineers and contribute to continuous service improvement.

Required profile

• Passionate about Microsoft technologies and eager to learn.
• Good communication skills in English and Dutch and/or French.
• Customer‑oriented, proactive and solution‑driven.
• Basic knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
• Understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
