Junior HR Assistant

About the role

Join a supportive HR team in an international, people‑oriented company based in Brussels. As a Junior HR Assistant you will gain a broad introduction to Human Resources, supporting recruitment, onboarding, administration and payroll basics.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with recruitment: post jobs, screen CVs, schedule interviews.
• Support onboarding of new employees.
• Handle HR administration such as contracts, personnel files, absences and certificates.
• Prepare HR documents and keep employee data up to date.
• Help with payroll preparation by collecting and verifying information.
• Participate in HR projects like employer branding, training coordination or wellbeing initiatives.
• Act as a point of contact for employees, providing clear and friendly support.

Required profile

• Graduated in HR, Psychology, Office Management, Business or a related field.
• Eager to start a career and develop strong HR skills.
• Fluent in French and/or Dutch with a good command of English.
• Organised, communicative, service‑minded and comfortable handling confidential information.
• Proactive, eager to learn and a real team player who enjoys working with people.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
