Java Full Stack Developer

About the role

Netcompany is looking for an experienced Java Full Stack Developer to join its team of digital innovators. You will work on modern web applications that support EU institutions and public‑private organisations, ensuring high standards of scalability, security and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain responsive web applications across front‑end and back‑end layers.
• Build front‑end architectures and user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Implement business logic, RESTful APIs and server‑side components with Java, Spring Boot and Hibernate.
• Design and optimise relational (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and non‑relational (MongoDB) database solutions.
• Apply secure development practices, including authentication, authorization and input validation.
• Write unit and integration tests, debug issues and perform code reviews.
• Deploy, manage and support applications in cloud environments using CI/CD pipelines, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Produce technical documentation and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of professional experience as a full‑stack software engineer.
• Strong expertise in Java development, Spring Boot, Hibernate and REST APIs.
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS and modern frameworks (Angular, React or Vue.js).
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle and MongoDB, including schema design and query optimisation.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS or Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Understanding of security standards such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect and JWT.
