Human Resources Director – Logistics Operations

About the role

WSC, a leading Belgian logistics partner, is seeking a forward‑thinking Human Resources Director to drive HR transformation across its multi‑site logistics network. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will act as a strategic business partner and shape the people strategy that supports rapid growth and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the HR transformation of a multi‑site logistics organisation to enable scalability and operational excellence.
• Design and implement strategic HR projects such as performance management, talent development, training, and career management.
• Drive digitalisation of HR by implementing HRIS solutions to improve efficiency and employee experience.
• Partner with executive leadership to align people practices with the company’s growth strategy.
• Develop leadership and management capabilities across operational teams.
• Lead complex organisational change initiatives in collaboration with employee representatives and trade unions.
• Represent the company in Works Councils, Health & Safety Committees, and trade‑union negotiations.
• Implement continuous‑improvement initiatives and manage HR KPIs (absenteeism, turnover, etc.).
• Structure recruitment processes to attract, develop and retain talent.
• Ensure full compliance with labour legislation and corporate governance requirements.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field.
• Extensive experience in senior HR leadership, preferably within logistics or multi‑site environments.
• Proven track record of leading organisational change and HR digitalisation projects.
• Strong knowledge of Belgian labour legislation and experience working with trade unions.
