HR Specialist

About the role

Air Products Belgium is seeking an HR Specialist to own day‑to‑day HR administration and support employees and managers with complex queries. You will work in an international environment, collaborating closely with HR Operations, HR Business Partners and the Global Service Center to ensure smooth HR processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage HR administration processes such as onboarding, off‑boarding, contract administration and data updates.
• Take ownership of complex employee and manager queries, delivering accurate and caring resolutions.
• Handle country‑specific HR cases and ensure HR data integrity in systems like Workday.
• Support ongoing HR projects, process improvements and new initiatives.
• Contribute to activities related to mergers, acquisitions and the rollout of new benefits.
• Help improve the delivery of HR services across the organization.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in HR (Generalist, HR Ops or HR Advisor).
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Confidence dealing with employees and real‑life HR situations.
• Hands‑on, problem‑solving mindset focused on improving processes.
• Ability to work independently in a structured manner.
• Fluent in English, Dutch and French.

Required skills

• Experience with HR systems, preferably Workday.
