Group Internal Auditor

About the role

You will join the Group Internal Audit department, reporting directly to the Group Chief Internal Auditor. The position involves leading and supporting financial, operational, regulatory and IT audits across Credendo Group companies and subsidiaries.

Key responsibilities

• Define audit scope, assess risks and execute complex, high‑visibility audit engagements.
• Prepare audit reports, present findings to governance bodies and follow up on recommendations.
• Coordinate follow‑up actions with local teams, external auditors and senior management.
• Assist in developing and prioritising the group‑wide internal audit plan using a risk‑based approach.
• Monitor internal audit best practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in economics, finance or a related field.
• 5‑7 years of internal audit experience, preferably in an international setting and with a Big Four background.
• Strong knowledge of internal audit standards and experience with IT/ICT audits.
• Excellent written and verbal English; French and/or Dutch proficiency required.
• Analytical mindset, high ethical standards and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
