Global Learning & Development Lead

About the role

The Global Learning & Development Lead will shape and execute the company’s worldwide talent, learning and performance strategy. Reporting to the Chief People Officer in Belgium, the role partners with senior leaders and people directors to build high‑performing teams and ensure leadership continuity across all regions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement global L&D, talent and performance frameworks, including succession planning and talent pipelines for critical roles.
• Create career pathing, selection processes, learning content and progression tools to drive employee growth and engagement.
• Coach leaders and employees on performance evaluation, goal setting and feedback best practices.
• Oversee global talent assessments, ensuring consistency, fairness and data‑driven insights.
• Analyse talent data, produce dashboards and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
• Identify, deploy and integrate HR technology solutions, digital performance tracking tools and AI‑driven predictive analytics.
• Maintain a competency framework to guide performance evaluation and development.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading learning, development and talent management initiatives on a global scale.
• Strong collaboration skills with senior HR and business leaders.
• Ability to design and manage succession planning, talent pipelines and performance management processes.
• Data‑oriented mindset with experience in talent analytics and dashboard creation.
• Comfort with implementing HR technology platforms and digital tools.
