Full Stack Developer (Noon)

About the role

Aikido builds developer-first security products that protect software teams without slowing them down. As a full-stack developer on the Noon team, you will help build the core of Noon, a workforce security platform protecting people from AI-powered threats such as phishing, malware and deepfakes, combining email and device protection, AI governance and attack simulations and training. The role is based in Ghent, Warsaw or Chicago.

Key responsibilities

• Write modular, testable and efficient code using TypeScript, Node.js (Fastify) and React.
• Build and maintain APIs and data models on PostgreSQL.
• Design and implement high-availability applications.
• Discover, plan, write, document and maintain new features.
• Understand the design principles behind scalable applications and asynchronous programming.
• Optimize product code for speed where required.

Required profile

• Medior to Senior level; experienced people who can hit the ground running.
• Very comfortable in a very entrepreneurial environment, with strong problem-solving skills and fast learning.
• Comfortable researching and tackling hard problems and algorithms (e.g. parsing).
• Willing to learn new languages when the product requires it (Rust or Go is a bonus) and to experiment.
• Fluent in English.
• Must be able to work from the offices in Ghent, Warsaw or Chicago.

Required skills

• Node.js, TypeScript and React
• SQL; deep PostgreSQL expertise is not needed
• Experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Bonus: technical knowledge of email, EDR or malware
