Freelance Portuguese Trainer for Face-to-Face Courses in Brussels

About the role

CERAN, a long‑standing language school, is looking for a freelance Portuguese trainer to deliver face‑to‑face courses for business professionals in Brussels. The role focuses on oral communication and cultural immersion, helping learners improve their Portuguese proficiency for international contexts.

Key responsibilities

• Teach Portuguese to business learners using an oral‑communication‑focused methodology.
• Design and deliver customized courses, including general language workshops and skill‑specific sessions.
• Introduce relevant cultural aspects linked to the Portuguese language.
• Assess learners’ proficiency at the start and end of each course.
• Collaborate with the Linguistic Manager and receive coaching and support from teaching and operational teams.
• Utilise CERAN’s digital platform and educational content for course delivery.

Required profile

• Native‑level command of Portuguese (C2) with the ability to explain grammar and share cultural insights.
• Professional proficiency in English or French (minimum B2).
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learner profiles and levels.
• Motivation to learn and apply new teaching methods.
• Willingness to handle administrative formalities associated with freelance work.
• Dynamic, enthusiastic and self‑motivated.
