Freelance Android Native Developer

About the role

We are seeking a freelance Android Native Developer to join a banking client’s team. You will work on native Android applications built with Kotlin and the traditional Android View system, ensuring high quality and stability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance native Android apps using Kotlin and XML layouts.
• Provide production support, incident resolution and root‑cause analysis.
• Participate in release management, deployments and platform lifecycle activities.
• Improve observability with monitoring tools such as Kibana.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git and Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security and application teams.
• Support Agile delivery, knowledge sharing and, for senior candidates, mentor junior developers.

Required profile

• Proven experience developing native Android applications.
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin and Android XML layouts.
• Professional English (C1) communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Ability to work autonomously and proactively.
