Factory Manager

About the role

The Factory Manager will lead a high‑performing production line in Courcelles, Belgium. Reporting to the Operations Leadership team, you will be responsible for a multicultural workforce of around 100 employees, driving quality, cost and delivery improvements while fostering a strong performance culture.

Key responsibilities

• Promote safe and professional conduct across all production activities.
• Lead, manage and develop an assembly team of approximately 100 personnel.
• Drive operational performance across quality, cost and delivery metrics.
• Provide strong on‑site leadership, ensuring high levels of team engagement and accountability.
• Implement Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Structure and optimise production processes within a complex industrial environment.
• Monitor and improve production efficiency, identifying and addressing performance gaps.
• Maintain and enforce high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support production goals and resolve operational challenges.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience managing large, diverse teams in a fast‑paced production setting.
• Strong background in Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to bring structure and clarity to complex operational environments.
• Hands‑on leadership style with a strong presence on the shop floor.
• Industrial experience within metal construction or heavy industry preferred.
• Fluent in English.
• Willingness to work fully onsite in Courcelles, Belgium.
