Operations Manager – Manufacturing & Supply Chain

About the role

The company is a fast‑growing SME in the Brussels region delivering highly engineered electromechanical solutions. To support rapid commercial growth and increasing production complexity, it seeks an Operations Manager who will professionalise the plant and prepare it for future capacity expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Increase efficiency and quality across production by driving continuous improvement, standardisation and modularity in a highly customised, project‑driven environment.
• Strengthen collaboration between Operations and Engineering to translate technical requirements into effective production processes, improving speed, quality and customer satisfaction.
• Lead and develop a sizeable production team through direct reports, focusing on team performance and organisational growth.

Required profile

• Strong electromechanical knowledge with the ability to engage technically with engineering teams.
• Significant experience as an Operations Manager in a highly technical industrial manufacturing setting (e.g., assembly, machine building).
• Proven track record of setting up, structuring or optimising cellular manufacturing; line production experience is a plus.
• Fluency in French and Dutch.
• Solid background in Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, operational KPIs and performance management.
