Enterprise Architect (Data and Analytics)

About the role

ING Belgium is looking for an Enterprise IT Architect with experience or a strong interest in Data and Analytics, including AI and GenAI. The role sits in the Tech department's Centre of Expertise (CoE) Architecture in Brussels and aims to turn business and technology vision into resilient enterprise architectures. It is full time, with the possibility of 50% work from home under a team agreement.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the global Business & IT Roadmap process, with centralised designs and logical global decompositions.
• Work with a virtual team of domain and solution architects locally and globally, and with local and group business and IT leadership.
• Draft, communicate and obtain approval for IT architecture solution designs, applying global standards and solutions where possible.
• Draft architectural roadmaps, monitor and manage progress toward the target state.

Required profile

• University or postgraduate degree (Master's).
• At least 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Broad interest and knowledge of Data and Analytics, including Data Management, Data Governance, Data Technology and analytics, including AI (GenAI, Composite AI, Agentic AI).
• Understanding of legal and regulatory requirements such as GDPR, BCBS 239 and the AI Act.
• Proficiency in English (ING's corporate language) and Dutch or French.

Required skills

• In-depth affinity with the architecture practice.
• TOGAF, ArchiMate and/or Public Cloud (GCP / Azure) certifications are a plus.
• Behavioural competences: innovative, collaborative, communicative, able to manage complexity qualitatively.
• Technical focus on data, privacy, security and ethics, acting autonomously as a go-to person for architects and leadership.
