Director of Sales – Hotel

About the role

As the Director of Sales for nhow Brussels Bloom, you will drive commercial performance, inspire the sales team and expand the hotel’s presence in local and international markets. Reporting to the General Manager and the Market Director, you will shape and execute the sales strategy to maximise RevPAR and market share.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the sales team, ensuring deep product and service knowledge.
• Develop and implement sales strategies across national and international markets.
• Manage key accounts, focusing on acquisition, retention and priority segments.
• Create the annual sales action plan and co‑manage the hotel’s budget and forecasts.
• Represent the hotel at local, regional and international sales events.
• Identify priority markets and launch targeted action plans.
• Drive revenue across rooms, meetings & events, and F&B, adapting to seasonality.
• Oversee RFP processes, account creation and financial coordination using SAP tools.
• Lead site inspections, fam trips and ensure daily performance monitoring.
• Provide structured weekly reporting to leadership via CRM tools.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior sales leadership within hospitality or a related sector.
• Strong strategic mindset with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable plans.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a track record of growing market share.
• Ability to work collaboratively with revenue management, finance and operations teams.
• Result‑oriented, data‑driven and comfortable managing budgets and forecasts.
