Contract Manager

About the role

As a Contract Manager you will support project teams by ensuring contractual commitments are clear, secure, and well‑managed. You will act as the bridge between clients, internal stakeholders, and the central Contract Management department to enable smooth project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and monitor contractual obligations across multiple projects, working closely with project managers.
• Serve as liaison between business units and the Contract Management department from tender phase through project closure.
• Assist teams in interpreting contractual clauses, SLAs, and amendments.
• Support tender teams in assessing contractual risks and prepare materials for risk selection committees.
• Advise project managers on contracts with clients, consortiums, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Coordinate negotiations and compile claim files together with the legal department.
• Identify, prioritize, and track contractual risks and opportunities, proposing mitigation or commercial optimisation strategies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of internal processes and tracking tools.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Law, Engineering or Business Management.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in contract management or project management within industrial or infrastructure environments.
• Good understanding of public procurement legislation is a plus.
• Fluent in Dutch (native preferred) and strong command of English.
