Senior Expert for Political Affairs & Governmental Relations – Electrolysis

About the role

At Power Solutions of Robert Bosch GmbH, we are searching in the Business Unit Electrolyser Solutions for a (Senior) Expert for Political Affairs and Governmental Relations in the field of hydrogen policy with a focus on electrolysis, who is well connected in the EU political community. The position is based in Brussels and integrates into the Corporate Governmental Affairs Team.

Key responsibilities

• Represent the Bosch Group in the field of hydrogen and electrolyser‑related policy towards EU institutions.
• Monitor and influence European subsidy schemes and de‑risking instruments for market activation at EU, member‑state and global levels.
• Follow relevant political and regulatory discussions and maintain close contacts within Bosch.
• Develop Bosch’s political positions on hydrogen and electrolyser business topics.
• Communicate these positions internally and externally.
• Represent Bosch in European associations, coalitions, events and committees.
• Engage in joint advocacy activities for the electrolyser business.
• Advise Bosch departments on political developments and provide general support.

Required profile

• University degree with in‑depth knowledge of hydrogen policy and related subsidy instruments.
• Demonstrable work experience in hydrogen policy.
• Understanding of EU decision‑making processes.
• Very good communication and networking skills.
• Convincing, flexible and reliable team player with strong analytical skills and initiative.
• Ability to work under pressure and independently on tight deadlines.
• Fluent in English; German is an advantage.
