Legal Advisor – Insurance and Supplementary Pensions

About the role

We are looking for a Legal Advisor to join the department responsible for supervising insurance products and supplementary pensions. You will ensure that insurance offerings and pension schemes comply with applicable legislation, regulations, and consumer‑protection standards.

Key responsibilities

• Verify that life and non‑life insurance products meet pre‑contractual information, advertising, and terms‑and‑conditions requirements.
• Assess product oversight and governance rules to guarantee value for money for consumers.
• Develop and apply risk‑based tools to target supervisory actions effectively.
• Participate in EU‑level projects related to insurance and pension supervision.
• Interpret and clarify social legislation governing second‑pillar pensions and respond to related inquiries.
• Handle complaints from pension scheme members.
• Examine legal forms, articles of association, and other institutional aspects of occupational retirement provision institutions (IORPs).

Required profile

• Law degree with a focus on financial services, insurance, or pension law.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks governing insurance products and occupational pension schemes.
• Excellent analytical and interpretative skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
