Chef de Rang / Runner – Hotel Restaurant (Brussels)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Chef de Rang / Runner to join the team at LE KOLYA, the hotel restaurant in Brussels. The position focuses on delivering high‑quality, personalized service in a relaxed, low‑volume environment.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and serve them according to restaurant standards.
• Maintain and organize service stations before, during, and after service.
• Set up, monitor, and clear tables while preserving presentation quality.
• Coordinate with kitchen, bar, reception, and management to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with banquets, private events, meetings, and special hotel functions.
• Uphold cleanliness, hygiene, and organization in all service areas.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience as a Chef de Rang, Runner, waiter/waitress, or similar hospitality role.
• Experience in a hotel restaurant or banquet setting is a plus.
• Fluent in French and English; additional languages are advantageous.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude, and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Knowledge of POS systems such as Restomax and/or Lightspeed.
