Chef de Rang – Restaurant Server

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Chef de Rang to join Thon Hotel’s vibrant restaurant and bar team in Brussels. You will be the face of our hospitality, delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for our international guests.

Key responsibilities

• Serve guests in the restaurant and bar, ensuring a calm, professional atmosphere, especially during late service hours.
• Prepare and serve basic cocktails, mixed drinks, wines, beers and other beverages.
• Guide guests through the menu, offering recommendations based on extensive food and beverage knowledge.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation in the service area.
• Adapt to flexible schedules and varying shift lengths.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar hospitality role is a plus.
• Strong customer‑orientation and a desire to make guests happy.
• Excellent communication skills in English, French and Dutch.
• Confidence to advise guests on food and drink choices.
• Motivation to develop personally and take initiative.

Required skills

• Knowledge of food and beverage menus.
• Cocktail preparation and basic bar service.
• Fluency in English, French and Dutch.
