Chef de Rang – Guest Service Specialist

About the role

Thon Hotels is seeking a motivated Chef de Rang to join its restaurant and bar team in Brussels. You will be the face of the hotel’s dining experience, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and well‑served during service hours.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a calm, professional, and welcoming atmosphere, especially during late service.
• Serve guests in the restaurant and bar, taking orders and delivering food and beverages.
• Prepare and serve basic cocktails, mixed drinks, beers, wines, and other beverages.
• Anticipate guest needs, go the extra mile, and create memorable moments.
• Work flexible schedules with varying shift lengths.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar hospitality role is a plus but not mandatory.
• Strong customer orientation and a passion for making people happy.
• Excellent communication skills in English, French, and Dutch.
• Desire for personal development, initiative, and a team‑focused mindset.
