Business & Financial Controller

About the role

As a Business & Financial Controller for Proton Therapy equipment projects, you will be the primary financial liaison for project teams. You will ensure transparency of financial data, guarantee the quality of equipment results, and support operational decision‑making through rigorous analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning and forecasting activities in partnership with project leadership.
• Oversee monthly closing, validate results, and report variances with recommendations to management.
• Provide ad‑hoc financial analyses to help leaders optimise profitability and make informed decisions.
• Maintain accurate cash forecasts to support treasury requirements.
• Identify, analyse, and monitor financial risks and opportunities, including FX, guarantees, penalties, and IFRS15 compliance.
• Support the rollout of SAP S/4HANA for Proton Therapy equipment, ensuring alignment with specific processes.
• Implement audit recommendations and continuously improve financial processes in coordination with finance teams.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in controlling, audit, or similar financial roles.
• Proactive, assertive, pragmatic, and client‑oriented with strong teamwork skills.
• Rigorous, consistent in document control, and able to work autonomously.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience using SAP S/4HANA.
