Back of House Attendant Polyvalent

About the role

The Back of House Attendant Polyvalent ensures that all guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house spaces are cleaned, serviced and stocked to the hotel’s standards. Working on day or evening shifts, you will support the housekeeping team in maintaining a high‑quality environment for guests and colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively clean and service guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house zones.
• Perform periodic deep‑cleaning, inventories and replenish room supplies.
• Report any maintenance defects, malfunctions or valuable items to the appropriate department.
• Communicate guest special requests to the floor housekeeper and update guest history.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all back‑of‑house spaces, ensuring they are tidy and well‑stocked.
• Adhere to hotel policies, house rules and departmental procedures.
• Support the Executive Housekeeper and supervisors by reporting problems and keeping them informed.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Room Attendant, Back of House or Public Areas staff in a comparable hotel.
• Flexibility to work unsociable hours and shift patterns.
• Fluent written and spoken English or French.
• Familiarity with hotel operations and a commitment to quality service.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Experience using the Opera hotel management system.
