Web Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Web Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer to own the administration, evolution, and automation of our web hosting environments. You will work closely with development, cloud, and operations teams to ensure reliable, secure, and high‑performing services.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and maintain Linux/UNIX‑based web infrastructures.
• Manage and optimise web servers such as Apache, NGINX, and Tomcat.
• Operate virtualised and cloud environments on AWS and/or Azure.
• Implement automation and infrastructure‑as‑code using tools like Ansible.
• Support CI/CD pipelines (e.g., TeamCity) and integrate with version‑control systems.
• Participate in system upgrades and large‑scale migrations (GitLab, Oracle, JDK, etc.).
• Ensure system security, backup strategies, monitoring, and disaster‑recovery plans.
• Handle incident and change management through ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.

Required profile

• Strong experience in Linux/UNIX system administration.
• Solid knowledge of web servers (Apache, NGINX, Tomcat).
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure).
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Proven troubleshooting and incident‑management skills in enterprise or mission‑critical environments.
