Data Engineer

About the role

Data Wizards is looking for a Data Engineer to design, build and maintain robust data pipelines that turn raw data into actionable insights for our clients. You will work in a collaborative consulting environment, helping companies leverage data and AI to drive business value.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and operate scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL and Python.
• Support data ingestion, transformation and exposure across multiple cloud platforms.
• Optimize data processing workflows with modern orchestration tools such as Airflow, dbt, Databricks or Azure Data Factory.
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, traceability and monitoring throughout the pipeline lifecycle.
• Contribute to data modeling, architecture decisions and documentation of data flows.
• Troubleshoot, tune and continuously improve existing data workflows.
• Stay updated on emerging data and AI technologies and share best practices with the team.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering or a related technical field.
• 1–6 years of experience in data engineering or a similar role, preferably in a consulting setting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage stakeholder expectations.
