Technical Recruiter – High‑Velocity Contractor

About the role

We are seeking a high‑velocity Technical Recruiter to support a fast‑scaling engineering design services firm. In this independent contractor position you will bridge complex engineering needs with top‑tier talent, ensuring rapid placement of specialists that accelerate product roadmaps.

Key responsibilities

• Deep‑dive into technical requirements to understand specific tech stacks, tools, and environments for diverse engineering roles.
• Drive high‑volume sourcing and outreach, delivering at least two quality submissions per day.
• Execute rapid‑response recruitment, filling roles within a 48‑hour window.
• Manage the full‑cycle recruitment process in the ATS, from sourcing to offer coordination.
• Conduct structured, competency‑based interviews to assess technical proficiency and cultural fit.
• Implement aggressive outbound strategies, including cold calling and LinkedIn outreach to engage passive candidates.
• Collaborate closely with hiring managers and technical teams to align candidate profiles with role requirements.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of interview outcomes and recruiter notes.
