Team Assistant – Business Development, M&A & Alliances

About the role
We are looking for a proactive Team Assistant to support the Business Development, Mergers & Acquisitions and Alliance Management functions of a leading global pharmaceutical organisation in Brussels. The role is a six‑month freelance assignment, with the possibility of extension, and involves providing high‑level administrative and operational support to senior stakeholders across multiple sub‑teams.
Key responsibilities
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, arrange travel and process expenses for senior leaders.
- Organise events, off‑sites and conferences, ensuring all logistics are handled.
- Maintain accurate and confidential documents, records and reporting files.
- Prepare presentations, meeting materials and other business documents.
- Provide day‑to‑day administrative assistance to Business Development, M&A and Alliance teams.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners as required.
Required profile
- Proven experience in a corporate administrative or team‑support role.
- Demonstrated ability to support senior leaders in a fast‑paced, confidential environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is preferred.
Required skills
- Strong Microsoft Office / M365 proficiency (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).
- Excellent calendar, travel and expense management capabilities.
- Confident handling of data, documents and reporting.
- Familiarity with project‑management or AI‑enabled tools is a plus.
