Systems Administrator – Defense Sector (Mons, Belgium)

About the role

Leidos Defense is seeking a Systems Administrator to support critical Army Military Intelligence Enterprise IT systems in Mons, Belgium. You will join a high‑performing team responsible for secure, reliable, and uninterrupted operations across a global environment.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve software and system issues across enterprise environments.
• Support system design, testing, implementation, and optimization activities.
• Maintain network security by applying STIGs and ensuring IAVA compliance.
• Administer enterprise services such as Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, MECM, WSUS, DHCP, DNS, Exchange, backup and data protection, client imaging, and file/print services.
• Manage operating environments including Red Hat Enterprise Linux v8.10, Windows Server 2019/2022, Windows 11, VMware vSphere/ESXi, and Dell Data Domain systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience or Master’s degree with 2+ years.
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance (ability to obtain TS/SCI before start).
• Active IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE or higher) or ability to obtain.
• U.S. citizenship and a valid U.S. passport for SOFA status in Belgium.
