Storage Specialist

About the role

The Storage Specialist will join an Agile Storage Squad responsible for maintaining a high‑availability storage infrastructure. You will work in a fast‑paced, sprint‑based environment, ensuring compliance, performance and security of the SAN estate.

Key responsibilities

• Participate actively in Agile sprints and daily stand‑ups within the Storage Squad.
• Maintain 100% compliance with audit standards and produce detailed documentation for every change and incident.
• Manage HPE XP8 arrays and Brocade SAN switches, including zoning, provisioning and performance tuning.
• Perform advanced LUN mapping and connectivity for VMware and RHEL workloads.
• Conduct OS‑level diagnostics on Linux and Windows systems for third‑party storage management software.
• Apply TLS certificates and basic security hardening measures.
• Support object‑storage solutions such as Cloudian or S3‑compatible platforms (a plus).
• Execute proactive patching, firmware upgrades and lifecycle refreshes across the storage estate.
• Handle end‑to‑end change and incident management in a highly monitored environment.
• Continuously monitor and optimise performance to meet strict financial‑grade SLAs.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and proficient in French or Dutch.
• Experience working in Agile teams and adhering to compliance frameworks.
