Cybersecurity Analyst

About the role

As a Cybersecurity Analyst at Cream Consulting, you will protect business‑critical systems and data for large organisations in sectors such as banking, insurance, telecom, energy and transport. You will work within a consulting environment that values personal development, collective intelligence and intrapreneurship.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security events and alerts using SIEM tools.
• Analyze logs and investigate potential security incidents.
• Identify, assess and respond to cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and support remediation actions.
• Contribute to incident response activities and post‑incident analysis.
• Ensure compliance with security policies, standards and best practices (ISO 27001, NIST, OWASP, …).
• Collaborate with IT, infrastructure and application teams to improve security controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT security or cybersecurity.
• Good knowledge of security concepts such as network security, IAM, vulnerabilities and threat detection.
• Fluent in French and English; Dutch is a plus.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with SIEM tools and security monitoring.
• Basic scripting knowledge (Python or PowerShell).
