Space Designer Intern

About the role

Cohabs is looking for a motivated Space Designer Intern to join its Brussels team. You will support the design and project groups in creating high‑quality living spaces, turning concepts into precise technical drawings and seeing them implemented on site.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare architectural drawings (floor plans, elevations, execution sets) from sketches to final versions.
• Develop carpentry folders with joinery details and technical sections.
• Ensure all drawings meet product standards and design guidelines.
• Attend site visits, monitor project progress and contribute to site reports.
• Help track timelines and maintain design intent throughout execution.
• Assist in preparing Bills of Quantities and defining project scope.
• Source innovative, sustainable materials aligned with the company’s design DNA.
• Contribute to the product‑to‑project feedback loop for feasibility and consistency.
• Collaborate with Project and Product teams to integrate bespoke furniture into layouts.
• Participate in internal reviews to improve drawing standards and templates.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture or Interior Design (fresh graduates with strong portfolios welcome).
• Fluent in French and English.
• Strong understanding of construction detailing, building codes and site processes.
• Analytical mindset with a keen aesthetic sense for materials, sustainability and spatial design.
• Proactive, curious and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
