Software Engineer – Embedded & Android Systems

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer specialized in embedded and Android systems to join our agile Scrum teams. The role involves translating product and system requirements into robust technical specifications and architecture, while delivering high‑quality firmware and applications.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze product and system requirements and create clear technical specifications and designs.
• Develop back‑end components and modern user interfaces for embedded and Android‑based solutions.
• Optimize performance, stability and resource usage of the software.
• Collaborate with test engineers to identify, track and resolve issues.
• Monitor and fix bugs, ensuring overall software quality.
• Produce clear, maintainable technical documentation.
• Support planning and estimation activities for realistic development timelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Approximately 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Experience working in agile Scrum environments.

Required skills

• Kotlin programming.
• C++ programming.
• Development of embedded software/firmware on Android platforms.
• Building Android applications.
• Familiarity with embedded Linux environments (a plus).
