Social Media Expert

About the role

Samsonite Europe is looking for a Social Media Expert to lead paid social advertising across its portfolio of travel brands. The role will focus on driving conversions, optimizing performance and expanding brand presence throughout Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, launch and optimise paid social campaigns on Meta (Facebook & Instagram), TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube and emerging platforms.
• Monitor and improve performance metrics such as ROAS, CPA, CTR and conversion rates while managing budget allocation.
• Design audience targeting, segmentation and remarketing strategies using data‑driven insights.
• Conduct A/B tests on creative formats, audience groups and messaging to identify top‑performing elements.
• Analyse campaign data with analytics tools, produce regular reports and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
• Stay up‑to‑date with platform updates, AI tools, industry trends and competitor activity.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing paid social campaigns for e‑commerce or consumer brands.
• Strong understanding of social media advertising metrics and optimisation techniques.
• Ability to collaborate with brand, country and digital teams and report to the European Digital Marketing Manager.
• Data‑oriented mindset with a focus on achieving measurable results.
