Server Assistant – Dining Room Support

About the role

The Server Assistant ensures a clean and welcoming dining environment by efficiently bussing tables, handling dishes, and providing courteous service. You will act as a guest advocate, creating personalized experiences that encourage repeat visits.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and set tables to restaurant standards.
• Deposit dishes appropriately in the dish‑room or specified area.
• Pull dirty plates from tables while guests are still seated.
• Serve beverages promptly.
• Stock bussing stations and maintain cleanliness, including sweeping floors.
• Perform buffet set‑up and refills as needed.
• Assist with room service and support other restaurant staff, such as expediting food.
• Take on additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar or supportive role in an upscale environment (preferred).
• Food Handler Certification, if applicable.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic setting.
• Hardworking, dedicated, with a genuine passion for hospitality.
• Flexible schedule – must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Required skills

• Operation of restaurant point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
