Senior Workplace System Engineer – Endpoint Management & SCCM

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Workplace System Engineer to lead the design, deployment and optimisation of our digital workplace across thousands of users. The role sits at the intersection of end‑user computing, security and infrastructure, ensuring a reliable and secure endpoint experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and optimise enterprise workplace services and endpoint infrastructure.
• Administer SCCM/MECM, software packaging and deployment processes.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of laptops, desktops, mobile devices and virtual workstations.
• Support and maintain VDI environments (Citrix, Nutanix, VMware Horizon or similar).
• Configure, deploy and maintain operating systems, applications and security policies.
• Handle endpoint compliance, patch management and software distribution.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for workplace and endpoint incidents.
• Participate in infrastructure migrations and workplace transformation projects.
• Automate operational tasks using PowerShell or other scripting technologies.
• Manage vendor relationships and maintain technical documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or equivalent experience.
• 5‑10 years of experience in Workplace Engineering, Endpoint Management or System Engineering.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Structured, autonomous and solution‑oriented mindset.
• Fluent English; Dutch and/or French are a strong asset.
