Senior Safety Manager / Director of Hygiene & Safety

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Safety Manager to lead the hygiene and safety strategy across multiple production sites of an international manufacturing group. Reporting to executive management, you will shape a proactive safety culture and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the division’s prevention policy and drive related projects.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimise safety procedures.
• Promote a safety, health, and environmental culture through site‑wide initiatives.
• Monitor regulatory changes and implement new legislation.
• Oversee mandatory safety measurements, inspections, and equipment standards.
• Develop and deliver safety training programmes.

Required profile

• Level 1 Safety Advisor certification.
• Proven experience as an EHS manager in an industrial setting.
• Strong leadership experience managing multiple teams in manufacturing.
• Ability to coordinate technical and socio‑technical projects.
• Excellent communication skills for raising safety awareness.
• Fluent in French and English; Dutch is a plus.
