MSAT AI Data Analyst

About the role

Join Legend Biotech’s fast‑growing MSAT Data Management team as an MSAT AI Data Analyst. You will transform complex manufacturing and quality data from CAR‑T production into actionable insights that drive process improvements and better patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Extract, transform, and integrate data from MES, eLIMS, SAP and other manufacturing platforms.
• Develop and maintain automated ETL pipelines and data workflows.
• Perform statistical analyses to identify trends, variability and relationships between process parameters and product quality.
• Apply machine learning and predictive modelling for process monitoring and optimisation.
• Support investigations and root‑cause analyses with data‑driven insights.
• Create visualisations, reports and presentations for technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the GMP data lake and data architecture.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Bioengineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in data engineering, analytics or data science.
• Experience working in a cGMP‑regulated environment, preferably in biotech or cell‑and‑gene therapy.
• Hands‑on experience applying statistical methods to manufacturing data.
• Proven ability to manage projects, set priorities and deliver business outcomes.

Required skills

• SQL and database design.
• Python for data analysis (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit‑Learn, Statsmodels).
• Statistical analysis: regression, multivariate analysis, hypothesis testing, SPC.
• Machine learning and predictive modelling.
• Data engineering and ETL pipeline development.
• Data visualisation tools: Power BI, Tableau, Power Query, advanced Excel.
• Azure cloud technologies: Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Azure ML.
• Knowledge of GMP, GDP, data integrity and GAMP5 validation.
