Senior Frontend Developer – UI/UX Designer & Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a senior front‑end developer who thinks like a designer and builds like an engineer for a fast‑growing Belgian SaaS scale‑up. You will shape new screens and interactions from scratch, working closely with the CTO and leadership to deliver polished UI experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Sketch, prototype and build new UI screens and interactions from a blank canvas, using only brand colours and typography as guardrails.
• Collaborate daily with the CTO and obtain sign‑off from leadership on completed designs.
• Own the front‑end of both a TypeScript Vue.js application and a PHP server‑rendered product.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience making real UI/UX decisions, not just executing them.
• Strong eye for interface design and confidence to create from nothing.
• Excellent semantic HTML and SCSS/Bootstrap skills.
• Solid TypeScript expertise with real Vue.js experience (components, state, routing).
• Comfortable working within a PHP environment.
• Understanding of performance (Core Web Vitals) and accessibility (WCAG 2.2 AA).
• Experience prototyping in Figma or similar tools.
• Portfolio demonstrating original design thinking.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
