Team Lead, DevOps

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on DevOps Team Lead to guide and mentor a growing DevOps team while actively contributing as an engineer. You will drive our cloud‑native transformation, promote GitOps and DevSecOps practices, and ensure our pipelines are efficient, scalable, and secure.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of DevOps engineers, fostering continuous improvement and collaboration.
• Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Gradle, and optimise cloud‑native infrastructure for reliability.
• Drive GitOps adoption with tools such as ArgoCD or Flux, and embed DevSecOps principles into the delivery workflow.
• Collaborate with Java and Angular development teams and security groups to improve developer experience and embed security‑by‑design.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering.
• 2+ years of leadership experience in a DevOps or software engineering setting.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams and geographies.

Required skills

• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Bitbucket, Gradle.
• GitOps tools: ArgoCD, Flux.
• Containerisation and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.
• Infrastructure‑as‑code and cloud‑native architectures.
• DevSecOps best practices and security automation.
