Senior Frontend Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to join our Product Engineering team in Ghent. You will design and build customer‑facing web and cross‑platform interfaces that directly impact our gaming products, working on‑site twice a week.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and evolve intuitive, accessible user experiences for web and mobile‑first applications.
• Translate product goals into performant, secure, and observable front‑end solutions.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and backend engineers to integrate APIs and data flows.
• Apply best practices in component design, testing, performance optimisation and error handling.
• Contribute to shared standards, reduce technical debt and improve developer tooling.
• Participate in discovery, experimentation, and continuous learning, including responsible use of AI‑assisted development tools.

Required profile

• Strong experience with modern TypeScript and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Deep knowledge of React, including hooks, composition and architectural patterns.
• Proficiency in CSS‑in‑JS, theming and design‑token systems.
• Experience working in large codebases, preferably monorepos.
• Solid understanding of state management and asynchronous flows (Redux Toolkit, RTK Query, RxJS a plus).
• Commitment to code quality, testing and observability.
