Senior Finance Manager - Insurance

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to lead large‑scale finance transformation programmes for leading insurance organisations in Belgium and beyond. You will work within the Financial Services Governance, Risk & Compliance team, advising top market players on modernising finance operating models while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end finance transformation programmes, from design through implementation.
• Drive improvements across finance processes, reporting and controls, leveraging automation, data and emerging technologies.
• Translate regulatory requirements such as IFRS 17, Solvency II and CSRD into effective finance solutions and operating models.
• Act as a trusted advisor to CFOs and senior stakeholders, providing clear, actionable insights.
• Lead, coach and develop multidisciplinary teams to ensure high‑quality delivery.

Required profile

• Strong experience in insurance finance transformation, audit or consulting with deep knowledge of finance processes and reporting.
• Proven ability to own complex projects and deliver results on time and within budget.
• Excellent communication skills with C‑level executives, translating complexity into structured solutions.
• Leadership mindset focused on inclusive team development and high performance.
