Senior Enterprise Risk Consultant – Financial Services

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Enterprise Risk Consultant to join PwC’s Enterprise Risk Management team within the Financial Services sector in Brussels. In this role you will work with banks and other financial institutions to design, implement and enhance risk frameworks that meet evolving regulatory expectations and improve operational resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and enhancement of Enterprise Risk Management frameworks aligned with banking regulations such as Basel III/IV and EBA guidelines.
• Conduct risk assessments, identify non‑financial risk exposures and advise clients on mitigation strategies.
• Assist clients in translating new regulatory requirements into target operating models covering governance, processes, people and systems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to embed risk culture and risk appetite into strategic decision‑making.
• Prepare documentation and disclosures to satisfy supervisory authority expectations.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in risk advisory, internal audit or Enterprise Risk Management within the financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of non‑financial risks, regulatory expectations and operational resilience concepts.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with senior client stakeholders.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Basel III/IV, EBA guidelines and other banking regulatory frameworks.
• Experience with risk assessment methodologies and ERM frameworks.
