Senior Computer Vision Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Computer Vision Engineer to join our partner’s AI team in Belgium. You will work on cutting‑edge generative models that create photorealistic and stylised visual content, bridging research and production in a globally distributed environment.

Key responsibilities

• Train, fine‑tune and enhance generative CV models (text‑to‑image, image‑to‑image, video‑to‑image, adapter‑based architectures).
• Develop image classification, ranking and captioning systems that understand complex visual contexts.
• Monitor research trends and open‑source advances, turning insights into development roadmaps.
• Design and own model evaluation frameworks and quality‑validation processes.
• Optimize inference using diffusion acceleration, quantisation and other performance techniques.
• Collaborate with ML teams to embed advanced vision capabilities into broader AI solutions.
• Contribute to multimodal AI projects that combine visual and language understanding.

Required profile

• 5+ years experience with diffusion models, including training and architectural customisation.
• Strong expertise with modern ML frameworks, especially Diffusers and Transformers.
• Hands‑on experience with IP‑Adapters or similar conditioning techniques.
• Solid backend engineering background, preferably with Python and scalable deployment environments.
• Deep understanding of generative AI, deep learning and computer‑vision best practices.
• Proven ability to drive research initiatives and deliver production‑ready solutions.
