Fullstack Software Engineer – Core Billing Platform

About the role

Alan is looking for a Fullstack Software Engineer to design and own the core billing platform that powers its health‑insurance services across multiple countries. You will work on a high‑volume, mission‑critical system that transforms complex regulatory rules into reliable, scalable software.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain the core billing engine handling thousands of daily transactions.
• Design modular, reusable billing primitives that can be applied across products and regions.
• Integrate with external payment gateways, partner APIs, and internal services.
• Automate billing schedules and workflows for multi‑country operations.
• Ensure system reliability, accuracy, and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with product, design, and operations teams to deliver a unified platform.

Required profile

• Experience with backend or full‑stack development, comfortable navigating complex business logic.
• Strong understanding of scalable, resilient platform design.
• Fluent in English; French is a plus but not required.
• Curious, self‑starting, humble, and collaborative mindset.
