Senior Auditor – Assurance (Industry) – Brussels

About the role

Join PwC’s Assurance practice in Brussels as a Senior Auditor within the Industry group. You will act as an ambassador of the PwC brand, building strong client relationships and delivering high‑quality audit engagements across various sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain direct contact with clients and work on‑site in their offices.
• Execute and complete audit engagements independently while collaborating closely with experienced team members.
• Prepare technical deliverables such as reports and management presentations.
• Develop and sustain relationships with clients’ middle and senior management.
• Identify opportunities to help clients solve complex business problems.
• Apply PwC audit methodology and contribute to project planning.
• Allocate work to junior team members, coach them, and evaluate performance.
• Support the development of audit team members through performance and development coaching.

Required profile

• Master’s degree.
• 2–5 years of experience in financial statement audits.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
• Ability to work autonomously and act as a self‑starter.
• Experience supervising and developing junior staff.
• Clear communication skills with colleagues and clients at all levels.
• Basic knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP (advantageous).
• Flexibility and adaptability to new situations.
• Excellent English plus fluency in Dutch or French.
