Senior Actuary Consultant – Employee Benefits

About the role

PwC is looking for a Senior Actuary Consultant specialized in pensions and employee benefits to join its Financial Services Governance, Risk & Compliance team in Brussels. You will work with leading Belgian and international financial institutions, helping them navigate regulatory, digital and client‑driven challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Advise a portfolio of clients on pension and employee‑benefits matters, with a focus on the Belgian market.
• Perform actuarial valuations under IFRS and US GAAP and coordinate cross‑border projects.
• Support audit engagements with technical expertise on IFRS/US GAAP and review IORP provisions under Belgian law.
• Collaborate with Tax, Legal, Deals and Accounting Advisory teams to deliver integrated solutions, such as GAAP conversions.
• Coach and mentor junior colleagues and contribute to the growth of the department’s service offering.

Required profile

• Actuary qualification or a master’s degree in mathematics/quantitative fields.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in actuarial valuations and employee‑benefits consultancy.
• Strong communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to non‑specialists.
• Fluent in English and French and/or Dutch.
• Team player with a critical mindset and client‑oriented approach.
