Sales & Category Controller

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Sales & Category Controller to join Danone’s Finance team. In this position you will act as the financial partner for the Sales and Category functions, providing accurate forecasts, closing the books each month and delivering insights that drive performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain short‑term and long‑term sales forecasts to support business planning.
• Oversee the monthly closing process, ensure timely reporting and explain variances against forecasts.
• Partner with Sales and Category teams to propose strategic recommendations and concrete action plans that improve performance.
• Produce financial analyses such as margin, variance, investment and risk assessments and communicate findings across the organization.
• Participate in ad‑hoc projects that add value to the company.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of experience in controlling or financial analysis within the food or FMCG sector.
• Strong analytical mindset, curiosity and proactive problem‑solving attitude.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
• Fluency in French, Dutch and English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP.
• Experience using TTM, Blue Planner, Essbase and Power BI.
• Advanced Excel skills.
